Here are some of the most asked questions - please call us if you can't find the answers here.

  • How long do we have the venue for?

    The 7 bedroom 5* farmhouse and The Grain Store are yours from Friday 3pm until 10am monday, and if you want to start setting up in the Grain Store, you can do this from the Wednesday before.

  • How many guests can we have?

    We have seating for 150 guests around our rustic handmade tables and wooden chairs.


  • Can we have evening guests?

    Yes, you can invite a further 30 guests in the evening if you wish.

  • Do we have a marriage license?

    Yes, we have 3 licensed spots on the farm. In The Grain Store, the farmhouse walled garden and the beach field. If can also have a non-legal ceremony conducted by a celebrant or friend, if you'd prefer.

  • What support do you offer?

    We are a family run business and are fully invested in making sure that your day runs smoothly. We will take care of the setup and takedown of the ceremony chairs and arch where-ever you choose to hold your wedding. We make sure that the bathrooms are kept clean and stocked throughout the day, and we also come at a time to suit you, to refresh the room and make space for dancing in the evening. We are always on hand for any other help and support you might need from the day you book.

    Use of The Farmhouse, Gardens & Terrace, The Courtyard and The Open Barns 


    Marriage venue license.


    Ceremony set up.


    Private access to the beach.


    All dining tables and chairs, cake table and present table.


    Courtyard festoon lights, hay bales and bistro tables all set up for you.

  • Do we charge corkage?

    No. (This is quite rare and a massive saving for couples)


  • Can we throw confetti?

    Yes, you can use natural confetti outside.

  • Can we use our own caterers?

    We have recommended suppliers list to help you but you are welcome to bring any caterer you wish. The caterers have a dedicated catering space with separate access. If you choose a Caterer who hasn’t previously worked with us, we are happy to show them around prior to your wedding.


  • What PA and sound system do you have?

    We have a portable PA sound system that you are welcome to take to the walled garden or the beach for speeches and readings during the ceremony

  • How many does the farmhouse sleep?

     The Grain Store farmhouse sleeps 14 people

  • Do we have time restrictions?

    Yes, celebrations need to be completed by 12am with carridges all gone by 12.30am
